Braemar

Braemar Community Fire Station is a former Grampian Fire and Rescue Service station situated in Aberdeenshire. The station has a single bay and operates on a retained duty basis.  Because of it's geographic location, Braemar's fire appliance is based on a 4x4 lightweight chassis.

Braemar and Maud fire station have had a co-responder scheme in place with the Scottish Ambulance Service since around 2007, which has the crew trained to a higher degree of trauma care than other firefighters, designated as a first responder asset with the ambulance service. The Scottish Ambulance Service have a vehicle provided to allow crew to respond when requsted, however they are barred from attending incidents which involve mental health, pregnancies or children.
